Retailer experience helps drive POS software quality assurance

The addition of an experienced retailer to our software development team in a quality assurance role a year ago has enhanced the retail friendliness of our software even further. We are seeing workflow issues and opportunities earlier in the software development and testing processes and addressing these before the software is released.
In addition to testing our software for functionality and traditional usability, we test it for appropriateness of function and workflow. And this is before we get to beta release. The result really is better software.
Having someone with active and current behind the counter retail experience is another point of difference for our point of sale software.
