With more and more supplier, banking, e-commerce and other core to business connections between POS software and outside the business, having up to date software is more important than ever.
The process of keeping software is up to date is simple. We continue to let users choose when to update because this gives them control over their business. It also allows them to choose to not pay to be supported if that is their preference.
The updates already released by Tower Systems in 2014 demonstrate the value of paying for support however. We have issued updates with new facilities as well as new supplier interfaces and connections.
Our work with Paypal, Postec, Xero and others demonstrates the commercial value of having access to state of the art software and while we consider updates to be business critical, we will continue to allow our customers to choose when an if they update their software.
