We are taking a different approach in delivering a version of our POS software to serve multiple locations. While our older Head Office solution has proven workable for clients, we felt we could do better – hence our multistore mission.
Broad development is almost completed and we’re playing internally to finesse it further before we commence QA and consider setting a release date.
Handling multiple locations is a challenge at the small business end of software development because of the flexibility small businesses want compared to their larger competitors where rules dominate operations. We have sought to be flexible but the requirement for data which is consistent across locations sets the agenda on this project.
