We are considering hosting a national user conference later this year, a full day event covering management, marketing and operational for businesses using our software. While we have regional and online user meetings, we have never run a national conference. We have been encouraged to do so by several of our users who want to develop among our user community.

Over the next month we will canvass our users to gauge support for a user conference and proceed based on feedback. Of course, the first two questions people will ask re where and how much. I’d be expecting a capital city event with a minimal cost – we have suppliers who will want to support this event as we would ourselves.
