The difference a new ad makes

We tried a very different approach to advertising our latest new Help Desk position on Seek yesterday and it paid off. We received 39 applications within seven hours of the ad being posted. At this rate we are likely to take the ad down before the end of the week. We started culling the application list overnight and hope to have initial discussions with several candidates today.

In this labour scare marketplace moving quickly is vitally important. That plus the urgency of our need is driving rapid evaluation of the candidates.
