There was an eerie silence for long periods of time in our National Help Desk yesterday.  Call traffic was down from right across the country.  We suspect that this was due to a combination of concerns to keep the lines free for those affected by the floods and a general slowdown across the country as all eyes watched the situation unfold.

We took the opportunity to help some new customers with additional training and make proactive outbound calls to locations we knew would appreciate some additional love.  We did this while also making sure that we were resourced to take flood related calls.
