Some software companies serving retailers do not offer support on the weekend. Indeed, some software companies don’t offer support outside Monday to Friday 9 to 5. This gives the rest of us – who offer genuine 24/7 support – a bad name.
This issue of POS software support coverage is top of mind today because of a call we received from a business owner using software from another company. They had been chasing support since last night, Friday night, at around 7pm. As of now the three calls for help remain unanswered. They can’t use their system. While this encourages them to switch to us, this need not be the case.
Each of us in business have an obligation to serve the needs of our customers. In the Point of sale software business it means being accessible to our customers when they need help. That’s our approach here at Tower Systems at least.
